Arashi had been working for a while now with this new strength training regime. He found it funny how he'd been only training his strength for so long, especially after he'd started as a Genin thinking only about the importance of speed. But now he had a reason for strength, and he supposed that overall it'd be a greater benefit than his speed would be. Especially with the toy laying in wait. He couldn't wait for the chunin exams. He'd catch up to his two greatest rivals; Taiko and Kacaru. They'd given him inspiration to train even harder than before. And so he had been, and would continue.
He'd adopted weight training, as well as an early morning regimen and a late night training regimen. In the mornings he'd grab his weights and start some basic lifts, in sets of two so that he wouldn't needlessly exhaust himself or damage his muscles. For a more total stretch, he'd start with 20 good-mornings, which helped stretch out his back after it'd relaxed all night. Then he'd progress to the 50 lb weights, doing 20 cross-overs, taking his arms from straight down next to his body and taking them to crossed over his chest like a corpse. Then straight lifts to the front, and side, 15 each. Then he'd do a second round of it all, making it a fine copule sets of exercises. After that he'd do some pushups and/or pullups depending on what he wanted to do, and then he'd finish with a few situps before showering. That was the best way to start off his mornings, with a total stretch and workout. A shower and breakfast would help him recover for the later day training, as he progressed into his pre-noon/pre-lunch training........
